Go is the English and Japanese name for the great 4,000 year-old board game of strategy. In China it is called weiqi and in Korea baduk.

The New York Go Center is a gathering place for Go players from all over the world. It was created to foster knowledge and appreciation of the art of Go and to promote international friendship through Go playing.

The Center open from 2pm to 9 pm Tuesday through Thursday, 2pm to 11 pm Fridays, and at 11am to 8:30pm on weekends. It is closed on Monday. Our 3 floors can seat over 60 players.

The playing fee is $7 ($5 for students and family.) Food, free instruction, and new friends are generally available.
